Is delivery and installation included when I purchase from Mancave Steel Solutions?
Yes, absolutely. Unlike many of the advertisements you may see, we do not have hidden charges such as freight and delivery costs. Furthermore, many competitors do not offer or include installation in their pricing. Rest assured that any quote given by us includes delivery and install!
Once the order is placed, how long does it take to receive the structure?
Install times vary by season, location and size of structure Typically 3-4 weeks, however sometimes can be as little as 1-2 weeks and other times up to 4-6 weeks . Please message or call for current lead times . Note, if permitting, you will wait an additional 2 to 3 weeks to get engineered plans back. Once the permit number is obtained, delivery and installation can be scheduled.
Are there structure size restrictions?
Minimum pricing is set for 12 feet wide and 20 feet long. We can cut smaller, however you would be paying for the larger size. Buildings up to 50 feet wide and 18 feet tall for the legs/walls are available. There are no restrictions on building length — priced in 5 foot increments. Building widths avaialble in 12’, 18’, and every two feet after that. Building sizes are cut to specifications, but will be priced up to the next size.
Do we need concrete? Do you offer concrete? What are the concrete requirements?
At this time, Mancave Steel Solutions does not install concrete pads. In most cases, installation can take place on level existing pad. If you are permitting, and ordering engineered plans, they will include plans for your concrete. If you would prefer to have your structure installed on dirt, gravel, or something other than concrete, mobile home or other anchor type will be added to your order. Typically, concrete plans will call for a minimum of 4 inches thick and a minimum of 3 to 4 inches larger than the frame of your structure. Details such as footers will be included in your plans. Please do not add anchors to your pad, installers will add them at the time of install.
Is a permit required?
It is the customer's responsibility to contact their local building and/or planning department to inquire about restrictions and requirements. Keep in mind, if your area has annual snowfall, ask the building department what your ground a snow load is. Buildings comes standard 35 pounds, however extra material can be added to meet your requirements.
What sizes are considered standard?
Affordable structures are 30 feet wide or less, and 12 feet high or less on the legs/walls.
Can I choose my color, and is there an additional charge?
In the final stage of ordering, you will be given a color chart to choose colors for your roof, walls and trim. Each manufacturer has a different color chart. You can choose all the same colors or up to three colors at no additional cost. Occasionally, specialty colors may be offered at an additional cost. Two tone, or wainscoting may or may not have an additional cost depending on the manufacturer and the type of building. A wide variety of specialty colors are available for an additional cost.
What if I need to cancel my order, will I get my deposit back?
Deposits are nonrefundable, as stated on contracts. For this reason, it is important that the customer orders according to City and or County requirements. If for any reason a customer needs to cancel their order, it is at the discretion of the dealer to offer a credit of the deposit towards a new order. If the new deposit is less than the original deposit, the customer would lose the difference. If the manufacturer has already ordered and cut the material, there may be a restocking fee which will be stated in the contract. If a change needs to be made to an order after it has been signed and the deposit has been paid, the dealer may charge up to $50 revision fee depending on the change.
What if I don’t want the installation?
Are you able to just drop off the material at my location and or can I pick it up?
Depending on the manufacturer, a 5-7% discount would be applied to the order for no setup .
Can you attach to my existing structure?
In some instances, yes. This will depend on the type and age of the existing building. Please discuss with our customer service specialist.
Will my building leak?
Buildings come with a leak warranty. Length of warranty depends on gauge of steel ordered and may vary slightly per manufacture. Typically a 14G structure will have approximately a six month warranty and a 12G will have approximately a 20 year warranty. It is highly recommended that any building longer than 30’ have an A frame vertical roof to avoid leaks at the seam. Having a level surface is critical in avoiding leaks at the ground level. Areas with snowfall require an A-frame vertical roof. Foam strips are available for an additional charge.
Do you offer interior walls, electric, plumbing, insulation, gutters, vents, windows,
skylights, and electric garage door openers?
Most manufacturers offer windows, skylights and vents. Electric, plumbing, gutters and electric garage door openers would be something the customer would do themselves or with a contractor after the structure has been installed. We can install a full wall either horizontally or vertically in the building. Please see below for insulation info.
Can these buildings be insulated?
Typically, yes. Each manufacturer will offer 1 to 3 types of insulation. Please contact customer service for a specific information and pricing.
What pitch will my roof have?
Standard pitch is a 3:12 however other options are available at an additional cost.
How much of a deposit is required at time of ordering and what form of payment is accepted?
Deposit amounts vary between 10 and 18% depending on the overall cost of the building. Deposits can be made by: Zelle , PayPal , Venmo, Pic of check , credit , debit and more. Deposits can also be made in person at one of our offices — please contact customer service for locations. Balance is due on the day of installation.
How will my building be secured to the ground ?
All orders include anchors to attach to concrete. Other anchors will be added to the order for all other surface types at an additional costs .
